Our Wedding Experiences
Our wedding day will be the heart of the Seaside in Sicily celebrations. Additionally, we’ve planned a series of meaningful experiences and informal gatherings to make the most of our time together and enjoy the beauty of Sicily.
The Celebrations at a Glance
18th June, Wednesday: Seaside Explorations
A scenic hike along the breathtaking Sicilian coastline at Zingaro Nature Reserve, starting at 9am.
19th June, Thursday: Ciao Amor’eh - The Welcome Gathering
A playful toast to love in a relaxed and welcoming setting from 7pm at Cumpà Restaurant in Castellammare del Golfo.
20th June, Friday: Seaside in Sicily - The Wedding Day
Our wedding day at Torre di Scopello, with a ceremony by the sea, followed by a celebratory reception. Transfers available for guests to arrive at 5pm.
21st June, Saturday: Seaside Send-Off - An Afternoon at Sea
A scenic boat tour along the Sicilian coastline in celebration of our first day as Mr. and Mrs. Arrive at the Harbour in Castellemare del Golfo at 1.45pm for a 2pm departure.

Our Wedding Itinerary
Seaside Explorations
Location: Zingaro Nature Reserve
18th June, Wednesday - from 9am
Join us for a scenic hike along the breathtaking Sicilian coastline. While we’re not formally organising this hike, we’d love for you to come along if you’re up for an adventure!
We’ll begin the trek at 9:00 AM at the south entrance, located here. You’re welcome to join us then or start at any time that suits you - hopefully we’ll bump into you along the way! The Zingaro Nature Reserve offers a 7 km coastal trail with plenty of swim spots. Feel free to walk as far as you like and turn back whenever you prefer.
We recommend bringing trail shoes, swimmers, bottled water, snacks or lunch, sun protection, and your camera to capture the beauty of the day.
The reserve requires an entrance fee of €5 per person, payable at the entrance. Operating hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Parking is available onsite. We’ll both have our phones with data and be available on whatsapp.
Ciao Amor’eh - Welcome Gathering
Location: Cumpà Restaurant, Castellammare del Golfo
19th June, Thursday - 7pm until 10:00pm
Join us for a playful toast to love - where Italian charm meets Canadian heart - at a relaxed and social welcome gathering in the enchanting town of Scopello.
Settle into a shady seaside patio as we gather at Cumpà, one of our favourite spots in Sicily. Cumpà is the first restaurant we enjoyed together in Sicily back in 2022 - and have been smitten ever since.
Cumpa means “friends”, and true to its name, it’s a meeting place for community, connection, and sharing good times - the perfect place to begin our wedding festivities.
We’ll enjoy golden hour and raise a glass to our time together Seaside in Sicily.
Come say Ciao Amor’eh, sip something refreshing, savour Sicilian favourites, and mingle as we set the tone for the celebrations to come.

Seaside in Sicily - The Wedding Day
Location: Torre di Scopello
20th June, Friday - 5:00 PM Guest Arrival
Join us for an unforgettable evening at Torre di Scopello, where we’ll celebrate our love by the sea with a heartfelt ceremony, followed by a vibrant reception of drinks, dinner, and dancing.
We invite you to embrace the authentic style of this special occasion, set against the natural beauty and timeless charm of an ancient tower by the Mediterranean Sea. The dress code is Formal / Chic Cocktail, offering you the perfect opportunity to dress up and celebrate with us. Picture yourself sipping a glass of wine or a Sicilian spritz in great company as the sun sets over the sea - elegant yet playful, inspired by the beauty of the coast.
We’ll be offering transfers for pick-up and drop-off. Castellammare del Golfo pick up will be at Piazza Petrolo at 4pm here. Scopello pick up will be at Parcheggio Grande at 4:45pm here. and timings will be confirmed soon. If you’re staying elsewhere, just send us your accommodation address so we can help. We will have two bus transfers in the evening at 12am (midnight) and 2am.
Seaside Send-Off - An Afternoon at Sea
Location: Castellemare del Golfo Harbour - Ecomar Boats
21st June, Saturday - 1:45 PM arrival, 2:00 PM departure
In celebration of our first day as Mr. and Mrs., we invite you to join us for a scenic boat tour along the breathtaking Sicilian coastline. Depart from Castellemare del Golfo Harbour at 2:00 PM in separate boats that will journey together. While we travel together, we’ll be immersed in the beauty of the Mediterranean waters and the stunning views of Scopello coastline, the heart of our wedding celebration.
This is a moment to connect with nature, enjoy meaningful conversations, and create memories that reflect the beauty of our surroundings and the joy of this special day.
Please bring your swimmers, sun protection, and bottled water to stay comfortable and refreshed during the trip. We will provide each boat with some drinks and snacks.
